I’ve had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember. Homegrown in North Carolina to two photographer parents, a sister interior designer, and another as a sketch artist – I was bound to find a creative outlet of my own. I jumped on the freelancer bandwagon out of an apparent need for basic marketing and design for independent, New Orleans' musicians. My entire artistic foundation was founded on simplifying the promotion process for this demographic, which grew in application to venues, nonprofits, and small businesses in the Greater New Orleans Area. To formalize this, I studied Arts Administration at the University of New Orleans.  What began as a love for making “gig” posters, turned into an advocacy for cultural economies. I love photographing New Orleans and the people who perpetuate its heritage, especially that of its music. Supporting these culture bearers with photography is my way of reciprocating all that New Orleans gives us everyday.
